It all started when two goofs, met each other at the net. It was one beautiful Sunday when Lane, holding a white claw, locked eyes with Jess, she rolled up to Sorrento beach with a backpack cooler full of modelos. She jumped in to sub for someone’s doubles partner during playoffs, and ended up kicking Lane (and SJ’s) asses and made it to semifinals. Even after losing, Lane (3 claws deep) looked at Jess (3 modelos deep), and felt a palpable connection. After that, the rest was history…

A few Instagram DMs and what’s app text exchanges later, Jess proposed going to a Dodger World Series game as “just friends”, however, due to logistics that unfortunately didn’t work out. BUT, Lane picked up what she was putting down, and proposed a non “just friends” sports outting, Jess was not on the same page. Luckily, their 6hr Laker date was enough to convince Jess, this might actually be a “date”.
